Roselyn Sanchez has received flack for hosting the Latin Grammys 2017 fresh off giving birth. The "Devious Maids" star gave birth to baby Dylan on Friday, November 3, which is less than 2 weeks ago, and she's confirmed to present the big award show set to air on Univision on Thursday, November 16 starting at 8pm ET/PT with fello present Jaime Camil. The actress took time of rehearsals to explain the situation to all of her fans and critics.

"I'm at rehearsals at the Latin Grammys and little by little I've read comments on social media," she said in the video posted on Instagram. "There are a lot of people worried that say, 'Roselyn take care, you've just had a baby, it's dangerous and you have to be resting.' You are all correct." The 44-year-old actress added: "I made a commitment... I am not 100% but I feel fine. I promise all of you that I'm taking care of myself. The baby is at the hotel with his two nannies, he's fine. Everything is fine, don't worry." Sanchez finished off by saying that she was doing it all "with love for all of my people in Puerto Rico... I am grateful and I am sacrifycing myself to represent my country." See the full video down below and tell us what you think!

In September, Roselyn Sanchez was part of the judging panel of "Mira Quien Baila", but after only one week on the show, she quit. The actress was in the final stages of her pregnancy and because the show was filmed in Miami, her doctor advised to stay set in one place. "I am 33 weeks pregnant and my doctor felt that it was not good to travel to Miami to continue this season," she told Univision. "Unfortunately, with this situation, my doctor asked me to go back home to be close to the hospital in case the baby decides to come sooner."
