Screen Actors Guild Awards 2014
The night is set to showcase a tribute to Rita Moreno and possible wins from Lupita Nyong'o and Sofia Vergara. SAG

The 20th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards will be broadcasted tonight started at 8pm ET/5pm PT on TNT and TBS. One of the main reasons to watch this show is the bit of the beginning of the ceremony where various actors are featured giving their "I'm an actor" stories. Every year the guild honors an actor for their lifetime achievements on screen and this year Rita Moreno has been announced to be taking that award. The Puerto Rican triple threat, actress, singer and dancer, is already part of the EGOT elite, those who have one an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony. Moreno received her Academy Award in 1961 for Best Supporting Actress in the film adaptation of "West Side Story" where she played Anita del Carmen. In 1972, she won a Grammy for Best Recording for Children when she was part of The Electric Company. The Tony Award came in 1975 for Best Featured or Supporting Actress in a Play for "The Ritz" and finally her Emmy in 1977 when she performed on "The Muppet Show." One of the major categories to watch is the "Outstanding Performance By A Female Actor In A Supporting Role" where Jennifer Lawrence, Lupita Nyong'o, Julia Roberts, June Squibb and Oprah Winfrey are nominated. Jennifer took home a Golden Globe for her role in "American Hustle" while Lupita Nyong'o took a Critics' Choice Movie Award for her role in "12 Years A Slave." The actresses have also been nominated for an Oscar and it is widely speculated that whomever wins tonight will take home the Academy Award. Sofia Vergara and Rico Rodriguez were nominated as part of the Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series category for their work on the ABC hit series, "Modern Family." The SAG Award has been taken by the cast consecutively for the past three years and this also marks the first year that Vergara is not nominated for the award. RELATED: SEE FULL LIST OF NOMINATIONS
