The last week of March we get to celebrate the life of one our most admirable Latina artists as we commemorate the death anniversary of Selena Quintanilla, the Queen of Tejano Music. She was taken away from us too soon on March 31, 1995 by the hands of Yolanda Saldívar, who was her friend, president of her fan club and her boutique manager.
Selena Quintanilla is well known for her big, flawless dos and her bold red lips, for the same reason she will always be remembered as a beauty icon. Even though the late Queen of Tejano music has an inspired makeup collection, we need to remember it was limited edition.
