Selena Gomez worried a lot of her fans and loved once she revealed that she will be taking time off to focus on her mental health. While many people speculated that her ex boyfriend Justin Bieber had something to do with her downward spiral, it is being reported that the Canadian singer has been ordered to stay away from her.
According to The Hollywood Gossip, Justin Bieber is not allowed under any circumstances to contact Gomez while she is in rehab. While at her rehab facility, Bieber is not allowed to visit or attempt to contact the star.
The site reports that Selena’s family reached out to Justin and laid down the law. Family members “recently reached out to Justin and told him to stay far, far away.”
Apparently, Gomez’s family “blames Justin for much of her downward spiral.”
If we rewind back, in August just a few days before her announcement that she will be taking some time off away from the spotlight, she got into an argument with Bieber.
The whole debacle started when Bieber threatened to delete his Instagram account over rude comments his fans were making about his then girlfriend, Sophia Richie.
Selena commented on the post, writing “If you can’t handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol-it should be special between you two only. Don’t be mad at your fans. They love you.”
Later on she had regrets about the comment, sharing a message on Snapchat that simply read “What I said was selfish and pointless.”
She reportedly tried to reach out to Justin personally to apologize, but he was not trying to hear it.
Flash forward to September, the insiders claim that Selena was blaming lupus for her emotional problems, but the real issue was her public feud with the Candaian singer.
"Selena lost it," a source said. "She can be fragile emotionally and Justin is a major factor."
So if her family really did forbid Justin from contacting her, maybe it's for the best.
