Selena Quintanilla Death Anniversary: Jennifer Lopez, A.B., Suzette, Remember 'Queen Of Tejano'

It has been 22 years since the world lost Selena Quintanilla, the "Queen of Tejano." The Texan beauty is not physically with us anymore, but her presence is still very much present. Just last year, Mac cosmetics honored her legacy by releasing a makeup line inspired by the singer, a wax figure was also unveiled, and every time the biofilm airs on television she becomes a trending topic.

On her death anniversary, her family honored Selena. A.B. shared a photo of himself with his two sisters. Suzette, posted a picture of a white flower, which recalls "Como La Flor," one of Selena's biggest hits. She also added the following words: "Your loved more than you could ever imagine.... I miss you and love you." Fans of the dearly departed entertainer poured in the comments sharing their thoughts, feelings and images of the late star.

Jennifer Lopez, who played Selena in the big screen, also took to social media to remember the star. The "Bronx-diva" shared a photo of Quintanilla and added the following tags: "never forgotten," "legend," "legends never die," "icon," "latina," and "love."

Selena Quintanilla rose to stardom came when she released her "Ven Conmigo" album, which was the first Tejano album recorded by a female artist to achieve gold status. In 1992 another hit came with "Como La Flor" from her "Entre A Mi Mundo" album. Selena received a Grammy for Best Mexican-American Album for "Selena Vive!"
