Selena Quintanilla Mac Collection: Cosmetic Brand To Launch Limited Edition In 2016

Pucker up everyone because MAC has confirmed that they're launching a Selena Quintanilla-inspired makeup like. Yasss, my heart is going "Bidi Bidi Bom Bom!"

The limited edition collection will include different cosmetic products and is expected to hit stores in the middle of the year in 2016. MAC's Creative Director James Gager gave the exclusive scoop to People en Español.

"The talent and beauty, as much as the physique and personality of Selena has caused a significant and colorful impact around the world that has grown in the last two decades," he said. "We've paid attention to her fan's passion and enthusiasm and with all our hearts acknowledge that her legacy represents MAC's philosophy."

In February, countless of Selena fans from all around the world united on social media and created a Change.org petition asking MAC Cosmetics to create a makeup collection inspired by the late Queen of Tejano. Two months later, and the hashtag #SelenaQuintanillaForMAC garnered over 30K signatures.
