Bárbara Mori’s 18-year-old son, Sergio Mayer Mori, is going to be a dad, and ever since it was revealed that a child was on his way, it’s been non-stop baby mama drama. Both the grandmother-to-be and the future grandfather, Sergio Mayer Sr., have been vocal about not wanting a relationship with Natalia Subtil, the 28-year-old Brazilian model carrying their future grandchild.

Now, the father-to-be has also revealed his relationship status with Natalia, saying he doesn’t want to have a family with her. “I would never in my life have a family with Natalia to be honest,” he told Televisa Espectáculos. However, he added that regardless of his relationship with the model, he will take care of the child and nothing will keep him from being a good father.

I will take care of my baby. My relationship with him or her will be one hundred percent. I just wanted to make that clear. Because this is not the baby’s fault.” Mayer Mori went on to say that although right now he lives with his mom and she provides for him economically, he has a few projects that he’s about to start so he can take care of child support.

The future dad also weighed in on Subtil’s recent photos for Playboy magazine. “I’ve seen much more than what’s on those pictures,” Mayer Mori said. “What can I tell you? It’s not if I agree or not with that, it’s something that she’s doing and clearly you can tell a lot about her morals given her actions. Beyond what I can say about it, it’s the fact that she needs to know what she’s doing.”

Mayer Mori has taken the news of the pregnancy as well as an 18-year-old can take it. “I just want to say that this enthusiasm, nervousness and excitement I have to become a dad are still overwhelming,” the teenage model said during a press conference after the news broke. “The idea [of being a dad] makes me very happy because a kid is one of the biggest blessings life can give you. I am obviously very aware of the commitment and responsibility this implies, and I will do everything I can, within my possibilities, to attend to my child’s necessities.”
