Shakira has taken over radio stations with her song "La La La," a song inspired by World Cup fever. Shakira has quite the catchy tunes, and she has proved it once again with 'La La La,' which has become the most successful song of this World 2014 in Brazil. She has even taken over Pitbull's 'We Are One (Ole Ole),' which was voted by FIFA as the song this official sports event - Pitbull performed with Claudia Leitte and Jennifer Lopez at the opening ceremony.

Shakira's song 'La La La' has over 146 million views on the web, while 'We Are One' has just over 125 million views. Fans of the Colombian singer and and soccer fans around the world seem to be going crazy for 'La La La.' The song has both an English and Spanish version. The Spanish version is being heard consistently throughout Latin America. The video too has proven extremely popular, showing a diversity of races and also reveals important stars of football, including Gerard Piqué.

Shakira seems to have knack for creating world cup anthems: in 2010 she was also the star of the World Cup in South Africa with the hit song 'Waka Waka.' The song was certified platinum in the US not long after its release. Tsingle similarly attained multi-platinum certifications in other countries, including a nine-times platinum certification in Sweden and a six-times platinum certification in Spain. By May 2014, "Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)" has sold nearly ten million units worldwide, becoming one of thebest-selling singles of all time.
