“Modern Family” actress Sofía Vergara is gracing the cover of Instyle’s October issue, with a candid interview to go with that, where she spoke about falling in love with soon-to-be husband Joe Manganiello after a messy breakup with ex Nick Loeb. “I didn't want to go out with him for a long time because I thought he was too good looking. Like it's too much work, and I'm older. I'm 43 years old. I don't want to deal with a guy that every girl is after, you know?” Vergara explained about her fiancée.
Nevertheless, the actress fell head over heels for him, since she says, “he's not like a typical handsome guy.” Vergara describes him as being serious, easy and straightforward. The other thing Sofía loves about Joe is that he doesn’t drink or like to go partying, so “he can sit around a dinner table for hours with my family. He talks sh*t and drinks Colombian coffee.”
Sofía said the shoot was a lot of fun, while she got all dolled up for the cover in a blue Jason Wu dress while reportedly nibbling on a deep dish apple pie! She also gushed about all the beautiful things she got to wear for the other photos: “We covered a lot of looks in a very small amount of time so that’s always very exciting to have so many changes of clothes.”
