Sofia Vergara Reveals Why She Didn't Want To Date Joe Manganiello, 'Modern Family' Star Thinks He's Too Hot

Sofia Vergara revealed in an interview the reason why she did not want to date her now-husband Joe Manganiello. According to the "Modern Family" star, Manganiello was too hot an actor to date.

"You are married to perhaps, seriously, arguably the most attractive man that ever lived," talk show host Harry Connick Jr. told Vergara. "Not that's just alive."

Vergara, who married the "Magic Mike" star in November 2015, told Connick Jr. on his talk show "Harry" on Friday that Manganiello had to do a lot of convincing to make her say "yes" for a date.

"When he started trying to convince me to go out with him, I didn't want to go out with him because of that. I don't want to deal with that, I am too old now to be with a guy that all the girls are like after him," Vergara said, giving out her reason: "'You're too hot, this is going to be so much work. I'm not kidding'... I didn't want to go out with him because of how hot he was."

Manganiello and Vergara began dating in July 2014, and the former proposed the reality TV star on Christmas Day in 2014 during a romantic trip to Kauai. The two later got married in Palm Beach, Florida, in November 2015.

For the episode of "Harry," which is in its second week of being aired, Vergara wore a blue lace dress along with matching heels.

On Tuesday, the 44-year-old appeared on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" where she hilariously spoke to the host after inhaling some helium.
