We’re used to seeing a very confident and self-assured Sofía Vergara, but that might have not been the case while shooting her latest movie. Sofía stars in “Fading Gigolo,” a film written and directed by John Turturro, who happens to also be the male lead. John plays a male escort in the movie, with Vergara and Sharon Stone as two of his clients. The feature also stars Woody Allen as Turturro’s pimp, and Vanessa Paradis, as an Orthodox Jewish woman who falls in love with the lead.

The film, hitting theaters on Friday, also has a very steamy scene that got Sofía extremely nervous. The Colombian bombshell, the “Basic Instinct” star and Turturro engage in a threesome, which for Sofía was a first. “At the beginning I was a little nervous because I've never done anything like this, not in real life or on camera so it was a little nerve-wracking,” Sofía told CBS News.

Vergara revealed to The Insider that what got her most nervous was working with Stone. “It was a little more nerve-wracking to know that your first threesome on camera is gonna be with Sharon Stone, a woman that is known for her sex scenes and her beauty.” However, she found comfort in Stone, who throughout her career has done quite a few racy scenes. “When I arrived on set, I forgot about all of that. She was super cool, and she helped me do the scene, and she said ‘Follow my lead, I've done this before,’ and it was amazing.”

Talking about the movie’s theme with E! News, Sofía jokingly said, “Fortunately, I've never fell into that point of having to pay for sex, but I don't wanna judge anyone and after seeing the movie, it's true, some people are lonely and I think life is short and you should do whatever you need to do to make yourself happy and enjoy your life. And if you can afford it, why not?” “Fading Gigolo” hits theaters this Friday in the U.S.
