Summer TV is officially upon us and with it is a wave of all-new and returning series. "Pretty Little Liars," "Penny Dreadful" and "Orange is the New Black" are still among the top shows returning, but there are more than a handful of new series hitting the small screen. Check out this list of the 12 best new and returning TV titles for the summer:

"Pretty Little Liars" (Freeform, June 21) - The Liars will return for a seventh season to take down "Uber A" once and for all and save one of their own, Hanna (Ashley Benson).

"Outcast" (Cinemax, June 3) - The supernatural horror that chronicles the story of Kyle Barnes, a man whose loved ones are involved in demonic possession since his childhood will come to Cinemax and star Patrick Fugit as the lead.

"Feed the Beast" (AMC, June 5) - Two friends, David Schwimmer and Jim Sturgess, open an upscale restaurant in the Bronx in hopes of turning their lives around and repaying a large Mob debt.

"BrainDead" (CBS, June 13) - Mary Elizabeth Winstead will star in this new CBS's political comedy that features both congress members and aliens.

"Uncle Buck" (ABC, June 14) - ABC is bringing a new comedy television series based on the1989 movie of the same name featuring an all-black cast. The show will star Mike Epps, Nia Long, James Lesure, Iman Benson, Adam Saunders, Sayeed Shahidi and Aalyrah Caldwell.

"Dead of Summer" (Freeform, June 28) - "Once Upon a Time" creators Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz bring a new series to Freeform. This new show is set in the 80s at Camp Stillwater and tells the story of camp counselors planning the best summer for their campers but must stop the evil lurking around the corner. The series stars Elizabeth Mitchell as Deb Carpenter, Elizabeth Lail as Amy Hughes and Zelda Williams as Drew Reeves.

"Stranger Things" (Netflix, July 15) - Winona Ryder stars in this supernatural mystery about a young boy who vanishes. The series comes from Matt and Ross Duffer and will premiere on the streaming service Netflix in July.

"Vice Principals" (HBO, July 17) - HBO has ordered a new Danny McBride comedy that tells the story of a high school and the people who almost run it, the vice principals. The series stars McBride, Walton Goggins, Georgia King, Busy Philipps, Kimberly Hebert Gregory, Sheaun McKinney and Shea Whigham.

"Angie Tribeca" (TBS, June 6) - Rashida Jones returns to the satire of police procedural shows "Angie Tribeca." It also stars Hayes MacArthur, Jere Burns, Deon Cole and Andrée Vermeulen in supporting roles.

"Preacher" (AMC, May 22) - This coming AMC series is based on the comicbook of the same name and will follow a small-town Texas preacher Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper) who becomes possessed by an angel and demon's offspring.

"Orange is the New Black" (Netflix, June 17) - We return to Litchfield prison for a fourth season of "OITNB" and the theme will be a bit more intense as the inmates and staff must deal with prison overcrowding, racial conflicts and much more.

"Queen of the South" (USA, June 23) - The "Queen of the South" series is an adaptation of the successful miniseries "La Reina del Sur" that is based on a novel of the same name by Spanish author Arturo Pérez-Reverte. The show will star "I Am Legend's" Alice Braga as Teresa Mendoza.
