During San Diego Comic-Con 2014 Masahiro Sakurai revealed the main menu for "Super Smash Bros." 3DS! Even more IGN shared some gameplay footage for the Wii U version of the title. In Sakurai's Pic of the day post from his Miiverse page the game designer shared a picture of the "Super Smash Bros." 3DS main menu, where he mentioned that while it looks familiar to previous Smash Bros. main menu's it was quite hard to for the designers due to both screens. Check it out below:

He continued writing, "The bottom screen displays pictures matching each mode! This was quite a task for the UI (User Interface) designers, but they made it happen. Kudos to them! You can tap the screen to look up additional info like how to play--complete with diagrams."

Meanwhile last week Sakurai also revealed a 3DS "Tomodachi Life" inspired stage. In the battle arena the walls of the apartment disappear so that the player can "see the area within when a fighter overlaps with the room." The rooms of the apartment appear at random, which Sakurai explains is a good way to plant bombs for unsuspecting foes. It was also revealed Mii characters saved on your console will make an appearance in the rooms of the apartments.

Additionally IGN was able to show off some gameplay from the Wii U version of Smash Bros. The video is of Little Mac, Link and Mega Man brawling in what looks like a Mario land inspired stage. Check it out below.

The "Super Smash Bros." 3DS title is expected to launch Oct. 3 while the Wii U version will be out sometime Holiday 2014.
