Dylan Sprayberry who plays Liam in the MTV supernatural drama may finally have a love interest when the series returns in June. Sprayberry spoke with Hollywire TV at PaleyFest where he revealed the show will introduce a new character that may or may not become Liam's love interest.

"There's a new girl on the show named Victoria Morales, who is really a great young actress," the 16-year-old actor said. "She's gonna be in the same grade as Liam and Mason (Khylin Rhambo), who is my best friend on the show. So we'll see what happens with that."

Sprayberry admitted that he doesn't know if his character will fall for Morales but did tell Celebified that there is definitely "some tension" between the two.

"There's a lot of things happening between my character and Mason and hers as well," he added.

Meanwhile the young actor also said that fans will see more of Liam and Mason's friendship in the upcoming installment.

"That's one of the main things that I've been really excited about this season 'cause we've been filming so much together and its great," Sprayberry told Celebified. "We've been friends for four... five years prior to filming "Teen Wolf" and we have a connection and you see that on the show, so it's really really fun to film [those scenes].

And Sprayberry even revealed that Mason will learn Liam's secret early in the season.

"It's gonna feel a lot like the first season with Scott (Tyler Posey) and Stiles (Dylan O'Brien)," he said of Liam and Mason's dynamic in the upcoming installment. "They really excited to go out into the woods and find dead bodies and just kind of see what they could come up with. The best way to describe it is like 'Scooby Doo' that's what it feels like."
