Eva Mange has been the center of attention for not only celebrating her 100 years of life, but also reuniting sisters Thalía and Laura Zapata under one roof. With a Mass to thank God for her life and a private gathering of almost 50 guests, Thalía, who traveled from the US to Mexico to attend, and Zapata, entertained their grandmother the way she deserves.

According to Zapata, she summoned all family members and close friends with an invitation spread by WhatsApp informing the party was going to be held in her own home in Mexico City. In addition to Thalía, other celebrities invited to the event were Lucía Méndez, Sylvia Pasquel, Carlos Ignacio and Abril del Moral, according to Univision.

Outside of the church and Zapata’s home, reporters waited with the intention to catch some action and speak with the Sodi sisters, who were guarded by a strong security team. Thalía attended without her husband, Tommy Mottola and their kids. Thalía’s other sisters Ernestina, Gabriela and Federica never showed up to the event.

The "Amor a la Mexicana" singer shared a sweet photograph of her grandmother with a congratulatory message. “Happy birthday abuelita. Today it’s been 100 years since you first saw the light of day in the precious beaches of La Paz, Baja California. We love you so much grandma. Sabrina, Mateo, Tommy and I celebrate your life!” her caption says.

After the party, the singer and actress shared another photo with a caption that read: "Today was an unforgettable day! God gave us the blessing of celebrating our grandmother’s 100th birthday!!! Eva Mange Márquez, I LOVE YOU."

Zapata also took Instagram to share one of the cakes and some images of Eva's gifts, like the flowers sent by "Ventaneado" Host Paty Chapoy, and "El Gordo y La Flaca" TV show.

"El Gordo y La Flaca" reporter Elizabeth Curiel shared some other moments of the celebration.

The celebration has been considered a great moment for the Hispanic press and the Spanish-speaking television channels of the United States. Laura Zapata has been estranged with her sisters since 2011, because shortly after her mother Yolanda Miranda died at age 76 from a heart attack, differences with the inheritance deepened.
