Thalia is in Mexico promoting her latest musical album, "Viva Kids Vol. 1." The 42-year-old singer had been at odds with her sister Laura Zapata over money that was owed to her grandmother Eva Mange. Court battles had caused a drift within the family but everything seems to have been resolved and Thalia took the time to visit Eva Mange. "One of the best days of my life," the pop star captioned a photo she shared on Instagram. "I love you grandma! I am so happy to see you and hug you. Always inseparable! Thank God." The picture has Eva sitting on a leather chair holding an album, smiling while Thalia embraces her with a huge smile on her face. The two seem to genuinely be overly joyed to have had the encounter and it does seem like a truly happy ending after months of struggles.

On her way out of Laura Zapata's home, Mexican media was waiting for Thalia but she did not speak to the press and quickly hopped in to an SUV. Zapata did take the opportunity to talk to the reporters about the reunion. "She came to visit my grandmother and that has me really happy," she said. "My grandmother at 96 years of age is receiving divine justice because this is how it had to be. I had not talked to her [Thalia] everything was through the lawyers. I think what is important is this moment of joy and happiness for my grandmother. The doors of my home have always been open. Many lies have been uncovered that had been said about me and this is a new accomplishment for the happiness of my grandma." The encounter with Thalia after much debate was cleared up. "We hugged each other very fondly," Laura said. "It was a reunion like the one we had over my mother's casket and I hope there are no more interferences."

Laura Zapata blames her sister Ernestina Sodi for causing the drift between her and Thalia. "We have always been very close," Zapata told reporters. "We have been used by people that don't have what Thalia and I have, the affection from our fans and fame. Since I was held hostage I have been suffering interference, especially from Ernestina. I blame her as the person guilty for all the separations that I've had from Thalia. My sister has started a new relationship with her grandmother and sister." During Thalia's press tour in Mexico she is also rumored to be working out details for her spot as coach on Season 4 of "La Voz México."
