The turtles are back! Michelangelo, Donatello, Leonardo and Raphael are returning to theaters this summer in “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out Of The Shadows” to battle bigger, badder villains alongside April O’Neil (Megan Fox), Vern Fenwick (Will Arnett), and a newcomer: the hockey-masked vigilante Casey Jones (Stephen Amell).

After Shredder, the most-feared super villain in the world escapes custody, he joins forces with mad scientist Baxter Stockman (Tyler Perry) and two dimwitted henchmen, Bebop (Gary Anthony Williams) and Rocksteady (WWE Superstar “Sheamus”), to unleash a diabolical plan to take over the world. As the Turtles prepare to take on Shredder and his new crew, they find themselves facing an even greater evil with similar intentions: the notorious Krang.

To celebrate the movie’s premiere, Paramount Pictures took the party to New York City, where the film takes place, and booked Madison Square Garden to host an incredible event that featured a performance by Vanilla Ice and his “Ninja Rap” with four dancers wearing the original turtle suits.

This song was featured in 1991’s “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze,” where Vanilla Ice actually makes an appearance as the club performer who comes up with this “Ninja Rap” off the top of his head after seeing the Turtles battle Tokka and Rahzar. Clubgoers assume the epic fight is just part of the performance and don’t pay attention that four mutant Turtles actually saved the day.

Among celebrities who attended the red carpet were Stephen Amell, Tyler Perry, Will Arnett, Brian Tee, Carmelo Anthony and Alessandra Ambrosio (who make cameos in the movie), Gary Anthony Williams, Stephen “Sheamus” Farrelly, Laura Linney, Noel Fisher, Jeremy Howard, Brittany Ishibashi and more, who spoke to Latin Times about their experience making this movie a reality and all the fun they had shooting it. Don’t miss the interviews in the video above!
