Ever since making his crossover debut in 2013 on "Devious Maids" and then becoming a series regular on "Jane the Virgin," Jaime Camil has been a loved actor by many in the English-language market. For others, like us at Latin Times, he has been all the rage since he embarked his career in the late '80s hosting his own shows in Mexico and starring in many telenovelas.

With his role on "Jane the Virgin" and new gig on Broadway, Camil is unstoppable! In fact, it is because of his talent and charm that guaranteed Camil to be host at the upcoming TV Critics Association Awards. “With his natural charm and quick wit, Jaime Camil has quickly become one of the most likeable personalities on television,” said TCA President Amber Dowling in a statement.

Although he has presented at many awards show, including the Latin Grammys, this is the first time Camil will have the stage all to himself and the responsibility to entertain a star-studded crowd as Ellen DeGeneres, James Corden, Conan O' Brien and Key & Peele have done in the past.

Here is what you can expect from the Mexican actor at the 32nd annual TCA Awards.

1) Prior to the critics revealing the winners of the night, Camil will kick off the awards show with a monologue, reports Deadline.

2) Rogelio de la Vega (Camil's character on "Jane the Virgin") will be on-call for Camil.

3) In fact, this is what Camil had to say on Twitter: Indeed! It'll be fun and @RogelioDeLaVega might stop by so I apologize in advance for his "comments."

4) He also revealed what he is planning to wear at the awards ceremony: Dress code for the @OfficialTCA's: #Lavender Avoid: #Peach.

5) Camil feels "truly honored by the invitation," therefore, we know he will do an amazing job!

The TCA Awards are scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 6 at the Beverly Hilton, honoring the programming that has made an impact on the previous TV season.
