Something tells us that children will have a new favorite show with the debut of "Sesame Amigos," the first "Sesame Street" show in Spanish for Latinos living in the U.S.

As they say, the apple does not fall far from the tree, because the Spanish-language version will count with the participation of everyone's favorite puppets such as Elmo, Cookie Monster, Bert, Ernie and Big Bird!

On "Sesame Amigos," children and parents alike will enjoy fun and educational 30-minute long episodes, counting with the participation of guest celebrities including Vahdir Derbez, Diego Luna, Leslie Grace, Tony Dandrades and Jackie Guerrido, amongst many others.

"'Sesame Amigos' is a new and innovative show created specifically for Latino families living in the United States," said Alberto Ciurana, president of program and content at Univision Communications, Inc. "'Sesame Amigos' will offer school age children who speak Spanish the necessary tools to have success in the U.S.," he added.

"Sesame Amigos" will premiere exclusively on Univision's "Planeta U" on August 1st. It will air every Saturday at 8:30 a.m. Eastern Time.
