For the seven times consecutive in the Women’s World Cup 2015, USA gets to Semifinals. Americans will face Germany who also has two world cup titles as USA. Also Europeans replace Americans No. 1 ranking last December. Two of the powerhouses of women’s football will start at 7:00 p.m. ET at Olympic Stadium in Montreal Canada fighting for a place to big party. A few hours after Germany get the ticket beating France, the USA followed suit with a 1-0 win against China.

Goalkeepers should be the key for this match. It is been a quiet Women’s World Cup for Hope Solo 33 years old. American’s goalkeeper has been called on to make just 11 saves in five games, as she is considered the best saver in the world. Now the U.S. team’s future in this tournament may very well depend on Solo. Although the Americans have allowed just one score in all last matches, none in the last four games. However, this Tuesday will be another story as they will face Germany.

For Germany, veteran Keeper Nadine Angerer 36 years, was the player of the match as Germany shrill cry by France. It was a very intense game for both. However, Angerer has announced that she will retire from international football at the end of the tournament. The two teams were level at a goal apiece after 120 minutes, but Germany prevailed after Angerer saved the fifth French penalty. The Germanys had few days to relax and get adrenaline levels back to normal before facing fellow title favorite’s team, USA.

Picking your favorite in this tie is no easy task. While Germany top the world rankings, USA are right behind them, having themselves enjoyed lengthy spells at the top in the past. The number of times two giants of women’s football have met in the world finals. USA won the first two games, both of them high-scoring (5-2 at China 1991 and 3-2 at USA 1999), while the third went the way of the Germany victory 3-0 at USA 2003. Nadine Angerer and USA’s Christine Rampone were the players present at the last two of those games, though they sat out both of them on the bench.

The USA-Germany semifinal match will air on Fox at 7:00 p.m., the pregame show starts at 6:00 p.m. Live Stream: Fox Sports go, NBC Deportes, BT Sports.
