Vicente Fernández Death Rumors

Vicente Fernández is one of the legends of Regional Mexican music and is cherished by everyone. In a round of interviews, his son Alejandro Fernández confirmed he had fallen ill due to a spine injury. After the news was published, it was reported that the 77-year-old singer was close to death. Luckily that is not the case and "Chente" himself reacted on social media to the latest rumors. "Who hates me so much that every 8 days they are killing me?" he question in an Instagram post. Although he is retired from live performances now, Fernández is a true legend that was born in Huentitán, Jalisco. His breakthrough came in 1966 when he was signed by CBS Records releasing "Perdóname." Vicente made his acting debut in "Tacos Al Carbón" in 1971 and was featured on more than 40 films during his career. His music legacy is recorded in over 50 albums in 35 years. During his lifespan he has won three Grammy Awards, one in 2010 for Best Regional Mexican Album "Necesito De Ti," another one in 2015 in the same category for "Mano a Mano" and the laste one for his album "Un Azteca En El Azteca, Vol. 1."
