One of the highlight events of the year is the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show that always causes controversy. The lingerie maker produces a show with models in sexy ensembles that delight viewers at home. The shimmering event will air on the CBS network on Tuesday, November 28 starting at 10pm ET/PT from Shanghai, China. Viewers will be able to live stream the event through the CBS All Access app.

Who are the models confirmed to walk the runway? Lily Aldridge, Alessandra Ambrosio, Taylor Hill, Martha Hunt, Elsa Hosk, Stella Maxwell, Adriana Lima, Sara Sampaio, Lais Ribeiro, Josephine Skriver, Candince Swanepoel, Romee Strijd, Karlie Kloss, Jasmine Tookes and Bella Hadid.

Who are the scheduled performers? Harry Styles will make an appearance on the runway as one of the confirmed acts of the night. Others gracing with their presence include Leslie Odom, Jr, Miguel and Jane Zhang.

The fashion show has had a lot of controversial moments already with Gigi Hadid not attending the show after she was allegedly denied a visa to go to China. “I’m so bummed I won’t be able to make it to China this year. Love my VS family, and will be with all my girls in spirit!! Can’t wait to tune in with everyone to see the beautiful show I know it will be, and already can’t wait for next year! :) x” Gigi tweeted.

Fans have been speculating that Hadid was denied a visa after she squinted her eyes holding a Buddha, which was deemed racist. Gigi apologized after the video went viral, but that might not have been enough after the offense.

Executive Producer of the show, Ed Razek, is clearing up the rumors about the visa situation. “The news reports I’ve been reading from the US here in Shanghai regarding this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show are not an accurate reflection of what I’m seeing and experiencing on site,” he told People. “This will, without question, be the biggest fashion event in history and our most ambitious show by far. The event is well in hand and coming together beautifully. We have more models than ever before – 55 representing 17 countries, and four world-class entertainers.”

“The Chinese have been wonderful and enthusiastic hosts and partners. From granting more than 700 visas, collaborating with us on every detail and introducing us to local experts who have helped us elevate our event in this renowned fashion city. We appreciate their efforts and all they have done to make this event a success. We look forward to the live show Monday night and the international broadcast a week later."

Another one missing out on the show is Katy Perry who was rumored to be performing, but was also denied a visa. “For every artist who wants to perform in China, officials comb through their social media and press reports to see if they have done anything deemed to be offensive to the country,” a source told Page Six. “Maroon 5 was banned a few years ago because one band member wished the Dalai Lama happy birthday on Twitter.” Perry wore a sunflower dress, which she wore during a performance in Taiwain. For the latter the sunflower has been a symbol for anti-China protesters.
