'The Walking Dead' season 4 episode 10 airs on AMC at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on Feb. 16, 2014. The episode, titled 'Inmates,' will be the second episode after the mid-season finale. If you miss the episode when it originally airs, then know that you can watch it again, at 11:00 PM ET/PT on AMC after the one-hour "Talking Dead" episode, on television. And if you can't watch it on TV, then you can access a live stream from amc.com, watch the episode On Demand through your local cable provider the next day, or purchase the episode on iTunes, Amazon, and Netflix.
Season 4 episode 9 picked up where the mid-season finale left off and the survivors were on the hunt for a new home. "If you know the comic, there are a lot of differences from the comic that we do and a lot of differences that we have to do," said showrunner Scott Gimple to The Hollywood Reporter. "There's going to be a lot of familiar stuff, brand-new stuff and remixed stuff. There are some things where you will totally know them and hopefully be expecting them, and then there will be stuff that's brand-new that you have no idea if it's coming but it will circle around to moments from the comic. It's very much like these eight. Comic fans once again will absolutely see a lot of iconic moments."
But if you think all the danger is gone now that the Governor is dead, think again! "They're definitely in the most dangerous position that they've been in yet, which is where all of the characters are coming out of this episode," teased Robert Kirkman in a TVLine interview. "We do some really interesting changes in these characters as they're put to the test and have to decide what they're willing to do to survive and how they're going to allow this new environment and new danger to affect them, which is what 'The Walking Dead' is all about." According to AMC, the new episode will show the group struggling to find safety. "In the quest for stability and safety, the group faces many obstacles," teases the network in a summary of the episode.
Fans can recall that earlier this season, someone was feeding rats to the zombies and it was someone within the prison walls. The identity of this individual was not revealed, but it will be in the season to come. "We will absolutely find out more about the rats and the person who seemed to dissect that rabbit that Tyreese (Chad Coleman) found in the tombs before the Governor showed up," revealed Gimple. Speaking of the Governor, he may be back in some capacity. "Something happened to him. I feel like a shady politician where I can't confirm and I can't deny anything," said actor David Morrissey to the Press Association. "Certainly, bad things befell him at the end of the last episode but we just have to wait and see."
