Watch ‘The Following’ Season 2 Episode 6 ‘Fly Away': Will Lily Grey Pick Her Son Luke, Or Joe Carroll? [VIDEO]

“The Following” continues tonight with episode 6 “Fly Away” however instead of spreading their wings and flying away from each other, finally Ryan, Max, and Weston finally flock together in their search to find Joe Carroll once and for all. After episode 5 “Reflection” Ryan had single handedly killed two of Joe’s new followers and Lily Grey’s purposed children, something that despite her ability to kill others, she is not pleased about. After digging into some information regarding a seemingly unconnected murder in Arkansas, Weston begins to put the puzzle pieces together and realizes that there is a follower within the FBI. Weston, who has been pushing Ryan to align with the FBI, finally disassociated himself from the organization and instead joins the ranks with Max and Ryan. Now with the trio rogue, they initiate a trade with Lily Grey, who has finally seduced Joe Carroll. The group successfully captured Luke, Lily’s eldest son, but now that she has Joe right where she wants him—her bed, no one can be sure whom she will choose.

The synopsis for “The Following” episode 6 “Fly Away” reads, ”Looking for back-up and hoping to execute their plan, Ryan and Max contact the FBI. But Weston has other ideas, leading to a standoff between good and evil. Meanwhile, Joe’s new relationship escalates into uncharted territory, and Luke finds himself in a troubling situation.” It seems like while Ryan, Max and Weston have been holding Luke captive Joe and Lily’s relationship has seriously progressed. But while Lily’s love for her son may be wavering, Ryan’s desire to capture and ultimately kill Joe Carroll is not. Kevin Bacon, who portrays the former FBI agent, commented on episode 6 in a special sneak peek video for “Fly Away.” The actor revealed that his character, Max and Weston “joins forces in this sort of rogue unit that’s really acting under no authority at all. In the interest of trying to find Joe Carroll, we take the law into our own hands.”
