Annalise’s new client is Marren Trudeau, played by actress Elizabeth Perkins. But Annalise is determined to walk away with an innocent verdict, in a sneak peak of episode 4, Annalise is seen giving her team a pep talk saying, “I need you to take the case seriously.”

But while Annalise is attempting to corral her students, she also has to corral her client. Upon entering Trudeau’s office, the defense team discovers that the FBI is already there and already searching for vital evidence connecting Trudeau to insider trading, and despite the serious implications, Trudeau decides her best course of action is to burn the FBI’s search warrant, while saying, “your goons are looting this place like it’s a damn fire sale and you have no right.” Annalise too has a flare for the dramatic but decides to keep herself in check, warning the officers, “I still see no proof of my clients connection to Edson Pharmaceuticals.” However, fans will soon learn that Annalise may be eating crow following that statement because the FBI discover a rather revealing video that causes Trudeau possible innocence all the more unlikely.
