New Los Angeles Lakers Point Guard, Jeremy Lin, threw out the first pitch at Dodgers Stadium on Saturday night before the team took on the Colorado Rockies in their second to last game of the season.

Lin threw what appeared to be a low lob to Dodgers Minor League Player of the Year, Joc Pederson. Lin, sporting a custom made #17 Dodgers Jersey, also yelled out the ceremonial “It’s Time For Dodgers Baseball,” made famous by the great Vin Scully.

Lin is currently building chemistry with his new teammates on the court as the Lakers began training camp in El Segundo earlier this week. Lin told the media on Saturday that both Kobe Bryant and Steve Nash look healthy and pain free and will be ready for the upcoming season that tips off next week.

In other off the court news, Lin is slowly becoming a YouTube sensation with his prank videos he plays on friends and family. In his most recent video, he spoofs the Los Angeles Clippers, Chris Paul, and his State Farm commercials. Lin currently has over 400,000 followers on his YouTube Channel and his most popular video, “Jeremy Lin goes to Hollywood,” has almost 700,000 hits.

“When people think Harvard or Asian American or they see my demeanor on the court, they automatically come up with certain preconceptions about who I am or what my demeanor is and I think one thing that was really missing was my off-the-court personality.” He told For The Win, earlier this week.

“So a friend suggested I start making YouTube videos awhile back when I was with the Golden State and so that’s how it all began.”

Lin partnered with cross-media platform network, The Whistle Sports, this week and is hoping to cash in on his social media fame. See how Lin did in his first pitch in the video below.
