It’s not very common these days to find artists true to themselves, who haven’t fallen victims of the commercialization of music and keep delivering quality products. This is the case of Ximena Sariñana, who at 29 years old is a remarkably mature artist. Her artistry continues to evolve on her third album, “No Todo Lo Puedes Dar,” following her Grammy-nominated debut, “Mediocre” in 2008, and her acclaimed self-titled English album in 2011. “No Todo Lo Puedes Dar” is the fullest realization of Sariñana’s unique artistry, which will be released April 14, 2015.

The new album was recorded in Los Angeles and Mexico City, and is more personal and more expansive than Sariñana’s previous albums. The new songs, many of which were co-composed by Juan Manuel Torreblanca, chronicle a breakup and a process of self-rediscovery, and also find Sariñana taking in new sounds. Throughout the 13-track disc, she adds more experimental and electronic flourishes to songs in which Sariñana continues to refine her craft as a pop songwriter. The album’s first single, “Sin Ti No Puede Estar Tan Mal,” perfectly reveals the new sound.

The song’s official music video, directed by Ximena’s brother, Sebastián Sariñana, has reached over two million views on YouTube. Sariñana, who is a Berklee-trained musician, is also having a pretty exciting summer as she will tour the US with Juanes starting July 28 in Bakersfield, California and ending December 4, at the American Airlines Arena in Miami.
