Yandel has broken from his better half, Wisin, for his latest solo album effort titled "La Leyenda." Off of this highly anticipated record, "Hable De Ti" has been released alongside a hot new music video.
"I love the video and I'm happy that I'll finally be sharing it with the public. It's different, fresh, innovative and, above all, very me. It represents my music and this new stage in my career very well," said the singer songwriter in a statement.
The music clip has the incredible Walt Disney Concert Hall, designed by renowned architect Frank Gehry, as a backdrop. Director, Carlos Perez, was the man in charge of bring out the best of the location and the "Algo Me Gusta De Ti" hitmaker.
"Considering that this is the first solo Yandel video in a very long time, we knew it had to have a great contrast with anything he had done in the past while being in line with his creative evolution. . . a video with high artistic value and a great level of style and sophistication," said Perez.
With Yandel going solo, rumors of an eventual split from Wisin have been rampant. For now the pair have no plans of going their seperate ways and they are slated to take part in the third season of "La Voz Mexico" later this year alongside Alejandra Guzman, David Bisbal and Marco Antonio Solis. The duo will share a double chair, a first for the Mexican version of "The Voice."
"La Leyenda" follows Yandel's debut solo album titled "Quien Contra Mi," which was released back in 2003. This new release promises a new and unique sound to the Latin music industry.
"It's refreshing, cool, electronic, urban and very danceable," said the artist.
