AB Quintanilla Signed To DEL Records: Selena's Brother Joins Label Owned By Chiquis Boyfriend

A.B. Quintanilla is stoked to announce that he has kicked off a new venture in his career and dedicates it to his baby sister, Selena! The record producer, songwriter and musician revealed earlier this week that he has officially been signed to DEL Records, the music label company that is owned by Angel Del Villar (Chiquis Rivera's boyfriend).

"I would like to thank Angel Del Villar and Luca Scalisi for allowing me to form part of the Del Records family!!! Let's do this!!!" he expressed on his social media platforms.

Prior to sharing the great news to his fans, the 53-year-old older brother of the late Selena Quintanilla, assured that his new career move is in honor of the Queen of Tejano.

"Later today I will be making a big announcement. Everything I do musically is to keep the Quintanilla dream alive," he stated. "Thank you to all who have supported by attending all concerts!!! Love y'all!!!"

A.B. Quintanillas was bass player in his sister's band Los Dinos and wrote some of Selena's most successful hits, including "Como La Flor," "Amor Prohibido" and "No Me Queda Más". He is also the founder of the popular cumbia group, Kumbia Kings Allstarz.

DEL Records is a Mexican-American record label created by Del Villar in a partnership with California-based VIP Music. With its headquarters in Downey, Calif., DEL Records caters to Mexico, Mexicans in the U.S. and Mexican Americans. Its first singing was in 2012.

DEL Records is home to some of the hottest regional Mexican acts in the industry, such as Luis Coronel and Gerardo Ortiz. Other exclusive artists signed to the record label are Banda Culiacancito, Fidel Rueda, Diego & Gabriel, King Lil G, Grupo Fernandez, Lenin Ramirez, Regulo Caro, Los Nuevos Rebeldes, Los Plebes del Rancho, Raul Lizarraga, Ulices Chaidez and the late Ariel Camacho.
