Multiaward-winning singer and performer Ariana Grande has her fair share of constructive and negative criticisms. But nothing can prepare fans for the conspiracy theories surrounding Grande, from her signature high ponytail to her album.

Signature High Ponytail

Grande’s signature high ponytail has one of the most creative conspiracy theories. Some say the ponytail changes color, depending on its emotions. Others say it’s like a highly automatic umbrella that opens up whenever the rain falls. Also, there are those who say that the ponytail is really an octopus that survives on land and breathes in oxygen.

Ariana Grande And Pete Davidson Relationship Timeline

Grande’s relationship timeline with former beau Pete Davidson is a very confusing one, which unsurprisingly became a favorite conspiracy theory subject.

Grande and Davidson became an item on May 21, 2018. The two confirmed it but said that it was just casual. Their next announcement surprised fans as the two claimed that they were engaged on June 9, but they publicly declared it on June 11.

Twitterverse, however, saw holes in the timeline. For example, May 9 was Grande and Mac Miller’s reported breakup. Meanwhile, Davidson and ex-girlfriend Cazzie David broke up on May 16. The rumored engagement ring for Grande took two weeks to make, so Davidson had it commissioned on May 26, two weeks before the June 9 engagement.

Someone from Twitter manually calendared the timeline of Grande and Davidson’s relationship. Check the calendar below, courtesy of Nicole Boyce.

The bottom line is, either Grande and Davidson have been dating for a long time, even before the news and social media posts, or, worse, Davidson was cheating on David with Grande.

“Thank U, Next” Album Release

Another conspiracy theory connected to Grande is the release of her album “Thank U, Next.” The award-winning performer is often shown in her album in a sleeping position, and her recent album is no different.

Conspiracy theorists suggest that the reason for this is that Grande either loves to sleep or suffers from lack of it. Other fans joked about Grande being stuck in a “Stranger Things” Upside Down dimension.

Fans also realized that the “Thank U, Next” album was released five months and 22 days after “Sweetener.” The album’s release could be Grande’s tribute to the Manchester Arena bombing, which happened on May 22, 2017.
