Ariana Grande just threw off a hint that she is actually bisexual. On Sunday, Twitter went into a meltdown after the American singer dropped another controversial teaser for her upcoming collaboration track with best friend Victoria Monet, “Monopoly.”

The new teaser includes a line from the upcoming track that reads, “I like women and men (yeah). Workin’ so f***in’ much, need a twinny, twin, twin.” Although it remains to be seen if the line is Grande’s or Monet’s, the possibility of it being Grande’s was quick to draw mixed reactions from fans. In fact, just shortly after the teaser’s release, speculations about Grande’s sexuality already spread like wildfire on Twitter.

While some fans speculate that the line could actually be Monet’s — who previously came out as bisexual, some speculate that it is Grande’s, especially since the singer was already caught up in the same controversy before. Earlier this year, members of the LGBT community were thrilled about Grande coming out after Apple Music confused the lyrics of her song “Thank U, Next.” That time, the singer had just announced that she would take a social media break following a chaotic 12 months.

In her sweet pop song “Thank U, Next,” the singer included references to her past relationships, including her ex-fiancé Pete Davidson, as well as Mac Miller, who had just died this year. What made the song controversial was its reference to a mystery person named Aubrey. For eagle-eyed fans, it was a hint that Grande was coming out as bisexual.

The blunder resulted from Apple Music publishing a lyric about a supposed current relationship with someone named Aubrey, which Grande’s fans interpreted as her girlfriend. After the name trended on Twitter in a matter of hours, Grande broke her social media hiatus and took to Twitter to clarify that she was only singing from herself, and that it’s “Ari,” not “Aubrey.” According to the singer, it signified that she was committed to focusing on herself after the string of tragedies that had hit her the past year.

Grande’s explanation was a tough pill to swallow for fans who wanted her to come out as bi. But with the latest teaser for “Monopoly,” they possibly aren’t too far from finally getting what they want.
