Ariana Grande Pays Tribute To Her Grandmother Marjorie On Mother’s Day

Ariana Grande just paid a touching tribute to her grandmother, Marjorie Grande, on Mother’s Day. The award-winning singer and her “Nonna” have a very close relationship with each other.

On her Instagram account, Ariana uploaded a photo of her grandmother’s perfectly polished nails and her beautiful hand that was adorned with a huge gold ring. Ariana’s tattooed hand is placed under her grandmother’s. The “Breathe” singer captioned the photo saying she misses her.

Ariana also uploaded a video of her mom and grandmother via her social media platform. The video shows Marjorie and Joan Grande laughing and interacting with the singer. At one point, Ariana asked her adorable grandmother to smile for the camera.

Last year, Ariana made headlines after she revealed that she and her 93-year-old grandmother got tattoos together. Coincidentally, the duo’s tattoo was a first for “Nonna.”

Ariana documented their entire escapade via her Instagram Story. In the video, the “God Is A Woman” singer asked her grandmother how she was feeling, and Nonna said that she’s fine. The hilarious grandmother also sarcastically said that she has felt more excitement in the past compared to when she was getting her first tattoo.

Marjorie had her late husband’s nickname inked on her left ring finger. Ariana, on the other hand, got a crescent moon tattoo on top of her left hand.

Meanwhile, Marjorie previously revealed that it was she who encouraged her granddaughter to sing and audition for shows at such a young age. While on the “Today Show” in 2014, Marjorie revealed that she urged Ariana to audition for “Annie” in Boca Raton, Florida.

Marjorie proudly shared that her granddaughter got cast in the stage play as Annie when she was just 6 or 7 years old. Several years later, Ariana got cast in shows like “Victorious” and “Sam & Cat.” She has also released a slew of albums and has received countless awards throughout her music career.
