New reports about the iPhone 5c say that Foxconn will halt production of the low cost iPhone since sales for the 5c have been declining. The Foxconn factory located in Zhengzhou, China is said to be shifting its production focus off the 5c and onto the iPhone 5s. The latest report follows news announced last week saying Apple has been steadily reducing their orders for the iPhone 5c as it seems customers prefer the iPhone 5s over the 5c. It has been reported that Foxconn is producing the minimum amount of phones, only 8 to 9,000 per day.

Apple's assembly partner Pegatron has also cut production of the iPhone 5c. They are however producing more phones than Foxconn. Pegatron is said to have slashed production from 320,000 units to 80,000 units per day. Despite the fact that the iPhone 5c and 5s were only released in September, Apple watchers are looking to the next generation iPhone the iPhone 6. Rumor after rumor regarding specs, features and a release date for the iPhone 6 have emerged with each conflicting report saying theirs is the correct information.

So here is a roundup of the current iPhone 6 release date news. It seems the one thing bloggers and tech writers can agree on is that the phone will be released in June of 2014. Features the iPhone 6 is said to have include a larger, curved screen and pressure sensors. Apple is said to be working on two iPhone models with screens 4.7 and 5.5 inches, making them the largest iPhones in Apple's collection. Other features include an improved camera, better battery life and more storage. The iPhone 6 will likely also run Apple's next operating system iOS 8.
