With the release of the Xbox One today, we have patiently been waiting for the bugs to be announced. It's inevitable with any new console, smartphone or computer there are bound to be bugs. But the news has come fast and plenty. IGN is reporting that multiple people have reported that their new Xbox One consoles have rebooted, crashed and some even reporting issues with hardware such as broken disk drives. The site reports one user reported issues with the headset outputting static while others have seen an "E100" notification, which indicates a total hardware failure caused by an update error. Fortunately the Xbox One troubleshooting page has multiple solutions for these problems.

However for the "E100" error it seems that Microsoft is asking users to submit their Xbox One in for repair. Besides those errors other gamers have reported numerous issues to the Xbox support message board, including concerning issues with unusual sounds coming from the console, disc drives, more spontaneous shutdowns and reboots, missing pixels, and black or frozen screens. And others have reported not being able to get their console to start in the first place. A user has submitted a video to YouTube to showcase his broken disc drive. In the video you can see the Xbox One making a terrible grinding sound the owner inserts his game.

Of course these are all instances where the Xbox One can be cured or fixed, rather than the red-ring of death. Microsoft has yet to respond to the numerous hardware and software malfunctions reported. IGN has offered a solution with their Xbox One Problems wiki which may have an explanation for whatever problem you may be experiencing. Make sure to check out the video below and check out IGN's Xbox One problems wiki page to view potential problems with the new next-generation console.
