The iPhone 6 release date may be a matter of months away, and, as ever, this has fuelled intense speculation as to what the smartphone will look like. Clearly, Apple fans are expecting big things as the iPhone 5 was pretty revolutionary - what more could the tech giant have in store for us? Well a new concept video suggests something pretty remarkable: a wraparound display. The concept video by artist Behance shows a touch-sensitive screen that stretches around the sides of the device to include buttons like volume and flashlight.
iPhone 6 with a wraparound display is a revolutionary idea. But it may remain just that: an idea. As intomobile.com suggests, it is unlikely Cook & Co. would put shortcuts topopular apps on the side of the iPhone 6. However, the technology for such a display system is available: Samsung has announced that their next generation phones will feature the technology. Whether Apple will try to match its biggest competitor remains to be seen. More likely they will try to outdo them with something truly revolutionary.
