Put your dancing shoes on -- Thalía has released a new single, and it is catchy.
The Mexican singer is sharing the mic with Prince Royce for the track "Te perdiste mi amor," which is the number 1 Latino song in U.S. charts and iTunes. The song, written by Royce, bears his signature stamp -- it sports a bouncy bachata rythm that had Thalía struggle with the Dominican dance.
"I still can't get the dance!" she said, while taking lessons in preparation for her concert tour, the first in a decade.
Royce had nothing but good words about the star. "It went super-good on the dance floor and the studio. I learned a lot," he said, adding that it was an honor to write a song for an artist like Thalía.
The Mexican singer is no stranger to duets, having collaborated with Julio Iglesias, Aventura and even a virtual Elvis Presley.
The number combines Spanish and English, and the video uses scenes from a concert recroded last September, as well as images of both singers during rehearsals.
