Whatever happens on May 25 in Wembley, one thing is certain: the Champions League cup is going to Germany.

Real Madrid and Barcelona could not hold it together against the unstoppable German teams. After losing on the first leg 4-1, Real Madrid put up a fight at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium on Tuesday, scoring two against the German team. Nevertheless, it was not enough to claim a spot in the final.

Barcelona, on the other hand, could not face the power of Bayern, losing in both legs of the semifinal. Bayern embarrassed the Spaniards on Wednesday, winning with an emphatic 3-0 at the Nou Camp. With a 7-0 in aggregation, the Germans raised themselves to an unprecedented level in the competition.

"It is a little bit of history," Bayern winger Franck Ribery said. "If we perform like this against a team who have dominated Europe for the past five years, who have so much qualify, it is amazing."

May 25 will be only the fourth single-nation final in the history of the Champions League. Real Madrid defeated Valencia in 2000, AC Milan won over Juventus in 2003, and Manchester United beat Chelsea in 2008. Bayern will be fighting for its 5th title, while Dortmund has only won one competition.
