Amazon has pulled the customer survey poll asking which gaming system people would prefer, the PS4 or the Xbox One. An overwhelming number of customers said they would prefer the Play Station 4 over the Xbox One. According to the Amazon Facebook poll 94.7 percent of the voters Amazon polled said they would rather purchase the Sony Play Station than the Xbox One. As a result of these numbers Amazon has taken the poll down.

According to psu.com Amazon set up the customer survey on June 13 after announcing at E3 last week they would be looking to determine which system customers are more interested in. The stunning results suggest that come Christmas and Chanukah time the PS4 will be flying off the shelves, leaving the Xbox One a little lonely.

Cinemablend.com reports that the PS4 vs. Xbox One poll was supposed to run until June 20 but for an unknown reason Amazon took it down early. Cinemablend.com takes a guess as to why the retail site removed the poll saying,

Thinking about this logically, there's no real reason as to why Amazon would have wanted to end the poll early given all the free publicity and traffic they were receiving from the unbiased and very public escapade. That is unless things were cut short, potentially, under coercion from upper management?

Regardless of the reasoning behind Amazon pulling the poll the numbers don't lie and they are in favor of the PS4. Sony's PS4 walked away with 38,984 votes while the Xbox One had 2,162 votes.
