‘The Walking Dead’ Season 4 Spoilers: Daryl Dixon Is In A Bandana And We Want To Know Why [VIDEO]

AMC has released an image for season 4 of "The Walking Dead" and it's quite interesting! Daryl Dixon is sporting a new accessory that makes us feel like that zombie threat will be seriously amped up. Actor, Norman Reedus, has also hinted at the increased zombies, "They've introduced a way to make zombies scary again, and they're terrifying. The new threat is just unreal. I can't of course tell you what that is, but it's brilliant writing."

New reports are saying that with the introduction of season 4 we will also see the introduction of zombie herds. And if this happens, than Daryl will need a more intense weapon then just his reliable crossbow. Reedus, also revealed that Daryl is going to get a bit of a oomph in regards to artillery. "The problem with the crossbow is that if there is a bunch of things to kill in front of me, you know, it's boom, boom, load it in camera, then you've got to drop it out, throw the arrow on the ground, pick it back up, then it's a digital arrow. But to do all that real quick is real taxing."

Reedus also admitted that his cross bow is a fun weapon that is also unique, "everybody looks cool holding a crossbow. It's not a M-16." And while Reedus states that the crossbow is no M-16, we certainly did see him with one, and he sure does look good!

Reedus was filmed at the gun range practicing firing an M-16 with a high capacity magazine at the end of June. So we are guessing that season 4 will feature Daryl Dixon wielding a lot more firepower than he has in the past.

Also let us not forgot that interesting new image that AMC released to Entertainment Weekly. What is up with the bandana, does it mean that Daryl is wounded or scarred in season 4. Maybe it’s just to protect him from smoke, smells or maybe chemical fumes.
