Did you love the 90s cartoon Daria? Well then get ready because she’s back and this time she’s real! Aubrey Plaza takes on the role of Daria, the iconic cynical American teen growing up in Lawndale. And while we wish that this was a full feature film, it is only a preview, but the it looks so good!

College Humor teased us Daria fans by releasing a fantastic and professional fake trailer Daria's High School Reunion film, starring Aubrey Plaza in the title role. And if the preview didn’t get us pumped up just by catching a glimpse of a real life Daria, who is forced back to Lawndale for the Class of 2002 10-year Reunion, we even see Daria’s best friend from Lawndale, Jane Lane, who apparently had a child.

Daria's popular sister, Quinn, also makes an appearance, unsurprisingly she is the reunion organizer and yells at Daria that it is necessary she make an appearance in Lawndale, but all the interactions aren’t bad. We also see Lane’s brother, Trent, who Daria secretly pined after for so many years; fortunately he is jamming with his band, Mystik Spiral.

The original animated series, was a spin-off of Beavis and Butt-Head and ran on MTV for five seasons from 1997-2001. The hilarious series gained a huge cult following in the 90s mostly due to the protagonist, Daria. She was best known for her increasingly pessimistic outlook on life and her lack of excitement for absolutely everything.
