"Disney Infinity" is a new toy-based game that allows gamers to play as the toy version of their favorite Disney characters. "Disney Infinity" is divided into two worlds, "Play Sets" and "The Toy Box." The "Play Sets" are a series of adventures based on specific missions. Each adventure takes place in the setting of a famous Disney movie.

"The Toy Box" lets players have more creativity. In "The Toy Box" gamers can combine worlds and characters from a variety of Disney favorites. The player has more freedom in "The Toy Box" to create an individualized world of play. Different worlds featured in this game were inspired by Disney films such as, "Pirates of the Caribbean" and Pixar films like "Monsters University" and "The Incredibles."

What makes "Disney Infinity" more unique is that the characters are brought to life inside the game by a physical toy owned by the gamer. A portal plugs into the player's console and the toy is placed down on top. As soon as the toy touches the base it will come to life on the screen.

Reviews about "Disney Infinity" have been mixed. Some are calling the game a positive visitation of the way they played with toys as a child. Negative reviewers say the game is a way of getting parents to buy their children expensive plastic figurines.

"Disney Infinity" is available on the X-Box 360, PS3, Wii and Wii U gaming systems. Play Station 3 users have been complaining about the game freezing on their device. Game reviewers at Kotaku have also had the game freeze up on them while trying to review "Disney Infinity. The game's producers told Kotaku PS3 users should delete the day-one 1.01 patch.

The game has been freezing on the Play Station 3 right after the intro. At the point where players are supposed to place their characters on the pad, they can go no further. A producer on "Disney Infinity" took to Twitter and let gamers know what to do. He said to delete the 1.01 patch and do not reinstall. The producer also said they are looking into the PS3 issue now.
