"Sons of Anarchy" returned to FX last week and fans are reeling after the shocking premiere episode. The characters are divided, Jax is heading toward a breaking point and the club has never been in more danger of dividing. In case you missed last week's season premiere here is a quick recap. Jax (Charlie Hunnam) is working hard to keep SAMCRO from falling apart. His wife Tara (Maggie Siff) has been arrested as an accessory to the murder of a nurse working at Stockton prison. Clay (Ron Pearlman) is also in jail for a crime Jax committed and then set Clay up to take the fall.

Last week former federal marshal Lee Toric (Donal Logue) paid a visit to Tara and then Clay. Toric is the brother of the murdered prison nurse and wants nothing more than revenge for his sister's death. He attempts to get both Tara and Clay to flip on SAMCRO in exchange for a deal. Tara flat out refuses the offer but Clay mulls it over. At the episode's closing Clay is about to be moved out of protective custody and into general population. Just before Clay is about to walk through the door he tells the guard to tell Toric he will accept the deal.

Throughout the episode as Jax and the rest of SAMCRO are dealing with various issues like Lyla's (Winter Ave Zoli) rape and what to do about Tara, there is a young boy walking around the town not saying or doing much of anything. At first the viewer is left wondering what the young school boy has to do with the storyline. The answer becomes clear at the episode's conclusion. The young boy walks into his school holding a large caliber gun and begins to fire. You do not see, but you can hear the screams of frightened children and adults. A spray of blood splashed across one of the windows of a classroom and the season premiere ends there.

In tonight's episode "One, One Six" Jax learns that the gun used in the school shoots was a gun that the Sons of Anarchy sold to Nero (Jimmy Smits) and his crew. "Jax deals with collateral damage as external pressure continues to stack up against SAMCRO," reads the episode description. Jax uses the incident at the school as the first step in getting his club out of the illegal gun buying and selling business. As you can imagine the Irish gunrunners SAMCRO works with are not happy with Jax's plan and won't allow the club to get out of guns.

Toric is trying to get Clay to cooperate in exchange for immunity. Toric says his end game is to hurt the people that hurt other people. The marshal reminds Clay that Jax set him up for murder and his wife, Gemma (Katy Sagal) betrayed him with another man. In Gemma's defense she only became involved with Nero after Clay almost beat her to death. Not that Gemma is a saint in all of this. She is looking to get custody of her grandchildren and take them away from Tara and Jax should something happen to them. Tara is released on bail and fighting with her lawyer to make sure her kids stay with their mother.

Clay asks Toric to see Gemma and Jax. In his meeting with Gemma he tells her he still loves her no matter what happens. When Jax goes to speak with Clay Toric is watching and Jax addresses the man going after his club saying, "I can feel how personal this is for you. But if you come after my club, you're going to feel how personal this is for me." "Sons of Anarchy" will air tonight at 10pm on FX.
