"Vampire Diaries" episode 2 "True Lies" airs on the CW tonight, and now that Fall is in full swing, there is a lot going on at Mystic Falls. The premiere of Season 5 caught back up with the supernatural teens and what exactly they been up to during the long summer nights. Elena and Caroline have moved into their new dorm room at Whitmore College, and Bonnie's absence was just the first of many surprises. Their new roommate Megan, kept vervane water, knew Elena's father, and was mysteriously murder by a vampire. But the fun doesn't stop there, Megan's obvious murder was covered up by the police, and freshmen year has turn into a serious manhunt for both Elena and Caroline. And while this may seem like a huge deal unfortunately this is the least of the girl's problems, in "True Lies" one of them is heading for heartbreak. So what couple is about to get the axe? Our guess in Caroline and Tyler, long distance relationships are hard especially if don't actually talk!

Back in Mystic Falls, there is no shortage of heartbreak and drama, according to the synopsis for episode 2 "True Lies", Damon will team up with a surprisingly ally, Sheriff Forbes in his desperate search for Stefan. But while Damon searches for Stefan, Silas searches to enact revenge. Silas is relentlessly searching for Katherine, but under order from Damon, Jeremy and Donovan attempt to protect the now human Katherine. But how long can three humans escape the ferocious wrath of the immortal Silas. Another exciting development set for week 2 will be the revelation of Nadia's true plan. The Eastern European beauty showed up in Mystic Falls to seemingly return Matt's ring but that's not all she did, the mysterious newcomer then conducted a spell on him. But spells won't be the only thing Nadia does this week, according to the synopsis, she will instead be using "violence to make a point."
