Despite the autumn air creating a chill in New Orleans, things are heating up on "The Originals." Tonight's episode "Fruit of the Poisoned Tree" features a steamy scene between Rebekah and Marcel, and we cannot wait to see what happens with this rekindled romance! In the Season 5 premiere of "Vampire Diaries" Rebekah left Mystic Falls and Matt Donovan behind to save her brother Elijah from Klaus, we didn't think the sexy vampire would stay single for long.

Although the real surprise came in episode 2 of "The Originals" when we learned the romantic backstory of Rebekah and Marcel's tumultuous relationship. Klaus forbade his protégé from falling in love with is younger sister, although the "damage" was already done and Marcel couldn't stay away from the blonde vampire. Since learning about Rebekah and Marcel unrequited love, the sexual tension has been palpable each time these two are on screen. And now in tonight's episode which is aptly named "Fruit of the Poisoned Tree" the King of New Orleans is taking his desire for Rebekah to the next level, so what will happen when Marcel takes a bite from Rebekah's forbidden fruit? Will Klaus finally fully turn on his protégé and make his true intentions known? Or will the two vampires hide their affair from the volatile Klaus?

While we don't know how Klaus will react, we are sure that this week's episode will be a good one. "The Originals" executive producer, Michael Narducci teased us with a photo on Twitter. "I can't wait for the next episode of #TheOriginals," Michael tweeted along with a photo of Charles Michael Davis and Claire Holt's seats from the set. "The Originals" episode 6 "Fruit of the Poisoned Tree" airs tonight on the CW at 10 p.m., if you miss it tonight be sure to check it out online available the next day at cwtv.com via live stream.
