Mexican singer Belinda talked about her experience filming the upcoming movie “Baywatch” and said she learned a lot from the cast and director.

“It was a special participation; something I wasn’t expecting. I was fully focused on my music at the time and it was my priority when suddenly this came to me as a total surprise, and just the fact of sharing with [them] was absolutely fantastic,” the songstress said the experience of working with director Seth Gordon and the cast, which includes Dwayne Johnson, Alexandra Daddario, Priyanka Chopra, Pamela Anderson, Oscar Nuñez and Zac Efron, amongst others.

While Belinda has been firm about her music career being her top priority, she admitted she does not discard the idea of making more movies further along the way. “I might get into making other films or doing different things in the U.S. later on, but for now, my singing career is my main priority,” she insisted.

The singer is currently working in the studio on new materials and mentioned she will take part in the film’s promotion next year.

Recently, Efron was asked in an interview what his experience working with Belinda had been like, and he only had good things to say. “Belinda was fantastic. She is very sweet, very lovely, and she is really excellent,” Efron said, inevitably sparking romance rumors, which the singer quickly ruled out.

“I had a great time with everyone shooting the movie, I learned a lot from each one of them, from the girls, from Dwayne [Johnson], from Zac [Efron],” the 26-year-old performer said. “We got along great and I have a very nice relationship with them. We still keep in touch and that’s all I can say, there’s no romance or anything like that.”

In the meantime, Belinda is keeping busy working on her music with none other than Saga WhiteBlack, the producer behind Nicky Jam’s smash hit “El Perdón” and “Hasta El Amanecer.”
