Benjamin Bratt New Projects: Actor Is Working On 2 Films; Doing Netflix Show

We're loving Benjamin Bratt and his busy schedule --because it only means there will be Bratt for a long time. Not only does the actor form part of the upcoming flicks "The Infiltrator" and "Despicable Me 2," but he's also got new projects on his plate.

The Hollywood star of Peruvian descent is expected to star in two movies and a TV show for Netflix, proving that 2015 and even 2016 will be one busy year for him.

Let's begin with Bratt's upcoming role in the Netflix satirical comedy series written and directed by Ricky Gervais "Special Correspondent." The series, scheduled to air in 2016, tells the story of a New York-based radio journalist, portrayed by Eric Bana, whose corrupt lifestyle has hindered his career. Bratt will take the role of a TV anchor, who just so happens to be Bana's nemesis in the comedy.

Besides the small screen production, Bratt was recently casted in "Shot Caller," an action drama movie that's being financed by Bold Films. According to Deadline, the 51-year-old actor will portray Sanchez, "a member of the L.A. County Sheriff’s Gang unit who is determined to make a career bust."
