While Research In Motion won't release its BlackBerry Z10 until Jan. 30, newly leaked photos seem to confirm the smartphone will be available on Verizon, and will have a 4.3-inch display, according to various reports.

Photos of "dummy versions" of the BlackBerry Z10 bearing the Verizon logo were spotted recently on Chinese marketplace Taobao, according to Ubergizmo, seemingly confirming Verizon will carry the new phone. While not formal final versions of the smartphone, "dummy versions" are common practice for many retailers around the world and typically give customers a good idea of what to expect before the actual handset hits the market.

According to TechRadar, various parts of the upcoming Z10 were obtained by ETrade Supply that confirm many of the specifications already announced for the phone, including the device's 4.3-inch display. ETrade Supply reportedly got its hand son the Z10's LCD screen, touch-screen digitizer, and both the rear and front housing assembly.

The LCD screen - which ETrade Supply obtained in two versions - measures 4.3-inches; the two displays feature slightly different sensor and camera hole placement suggesting their could be more than one model the of the Z10 coming from RIM.

The front casing of the Z10 shows slots for the rumored HDMI-out port, micro USB port, and a diagram suggesting it will take a SIM card under the battery. The Z10's rear casing shows an SD card slot and covers the majority of the phone's back, with a large gap where the battery and battery cover will be. Altogether the casing measures 5.2-inches tall by 2.9-inches wide; the casing and screen assembled are about 0.37-inches thick.

"In building BlackBerry 10, we set out to create a truly unique mobile computing experience that constantly adapts to your needs. Our team has been working tirelessly to bring our customers innovative features combined with a best in class browser, a rich application ecosystem, and cutting-edge multimedia capabilities. All of this will be integrated into a user experience - the BlackBerry Flow - that is unlike any smartphone on the market today," said Thorsten Heins, President and CEO of RIM.

When the BlackBerry 10 is eventually released on Jan. 30 the phone will reportedly be available in two models, the X10 and Z10, according to BGR. The Z10, also known as the L-series, features a touch-screen keyboard, removable back cover, NFC antenna, micro-SIM and microSD slots, and a removable 1,800mAh battery.

The X10 model opts for a more traditional design using the old school QWERTY style keyboard. The phone will reportedly be available in both black and white, and rumors indicate the phone will feature a 4.2-inch screen with 1280x768 resolution.

The BlackBerry 10 includes a feature called Balance, which encrypts work data and separates content, and a feature called Flow that's a suite of new gesture controls.

Further information regarding the specs and features of the new BlackBerry 10 handset are still scarce and vague. However, if the release of RIM's new smartphone is anything like the product releases we've already seen this year for devices like the iPhone 5 or Samsung Galaxy SIII we'd bet heavily on more leaks of information and pictures in the coming weeks.
