Camila Cabello left Fifth Harmony almost a year ago, but she might reunite with her former bandmates at the Latin AMAs 2017 as they are both confirmed to perform. Cabello was announced today to join the lineup of stars that will grace the Dolby Theatre stage for the fun-filled night performing her latest hit "Havana." The girlband was previously announced to come out alongside Pitbull for the worldwide television premiere of the song “Por Favor.”

The Latin American Music Awards will also have the performances of Abraham Mateo, Alejandra Guzman, Angeles, Banda MS, Chris Brown, Bad Bunny, Christian Nodal, Gente de Zona, Gloria Trevi, Jesse & Joy, Manuel Medrano, Natalia Jimenez, Pablo Alboran, Prince Royce, Spiff TV as well as Bacilos, Chiquis Rivera, Wisin and Chayanne. The Latin AMAs 2017 will air on Thursday, October 26 starting at 9pm/8c on Telemundo.

Camila Cabello recently received a Latin Grammy nomination in the Best Urban Song category for the Spanish version of "Hey Ma." The collaboration included J Balvin, Phillip Kembo, Johnny Michell and Pitbull. That song will be competing with "A Chapa é Quente" by Emicida & Rael, "Coqueta" by Luis Díaz, Alejandro Estrada, Bruno Og & Jonathan Torres, "El Amante" by Nicky Jam, Juan Diego Medina Vélez & Cristhian Mena, "Papa" by Lápiz Consciente & Vico C and “Somos Anormales” by Rafael Arcaute, Igor Koshkendey & Residente.

Cabello left Fifth Harmony at the end of 2016 with news delivered to fans via a Twitter message from the band's official account. “After 4 and a half years of being together, we have been informed via her representative that Camila has decided to leave Fifth Harmony. We wish her well," the statement read.

Cabello was quick to react and released her own statement where she said: “The girls were aware of my feelings through the long, much needed conversations about the future that we had during tour. Saying that they were just informed through my representatives that I was ‘leaving the group’ is simply not true. Just like the other girls said in their statement about their plans, I had also planned to continue with my own solo endeavors in the new year, but I did not intend to end things with Fifth Harmony this way. As sad as it is to see this chapter ending this way, I will continue to root them all on as individuals and as a group. I wish nothing but the best for them.”

Fifth Harmony then fired back in another statement that read: “We have spent the past year and a half (since her initial solo endeavor) trying to communicate to her and her team all of the reasons why we felt Fifth Harmony deserved at least one more album of her time, given the success of this past year that we’d all worked so hard for."

Following the drama Cabello said that she felt sexualized while in the band. “Especially with being a girl group, there’s been a lot of times where people have tried to sexualize us to just get more attention,” she said. “Unfortunately, sex sells. There’s definitely been times where there’s stuff that I have not been comfortable with and I’ve had to put my foot down…I feel like it’s been tricky because we’ve had to grow into ourselves while being in front of the world and while making songs that did have a lot of sexual undertones.”
