Demi Lovato and Ariana Grande now share the same manager. On Saturday, the “Sorry Not Sorry” singer announced that she’s rebooting her music career with a management change, signing up with Scooter Braun — the same entertainment mogul who manages big stars like Grande and Justin Bieber.

After returning home from a vacation in Bora Bora, Lovato confirmed on Instagram that she’s preparing for the next chapter in her career. As she prepares for a new release, Lovato signed a contract with Braun and announced that he would be her manager moving forward.

Sharing a photo with Braun, Lovato told her fans that working with Grande’s manager was a dream come true for her. “GUYS!!! Dreams came true today for me,” she captioned her photo. “I officially have a NEW MANAGER!!! And not just any new manager but the one and only @scooterbraun!!!! Couldn’t be happier, inspired and excited to begin this next chapter with you Scooter!!! Thank you for believing in me and for being part of this new journey. LET’S DO THIS!!!” she continued.

Welcoming Lovato to his “family,” Braun responded to the singer’s post, saying that Lovato is “a special person and a special talent” and that he’s honored to be managing her career. Messages of support from fans and celebrity friends also came pouring in shortly after Lovato’s announcement.

Hailey Baldwin, wife of Bieber, commented on Lovato’s post with a “Yayyyyyyyy” and heart emojis. Lovato responded to her comment, saying, “@haileybieber I miss you and we talked about you today. You are such a great human and I need more of your life!!!” Another client of Braun, model Ashley Graham, also welcomed Lovato to their “family.”

Braun launched his entertainment company in 2007. Since then, his company has been home to a roster of more than two dozen music artists, including Zac Brown Band and Tori Kelly. His new contract with Lovato is expected to do wonders to the singer’s music career, just as he did wonders to Grande’s and Bieber’s.

Braun succeeded Phil McIntyre as Lovato’s manager. In 2018, Lovato split from McIntyre, who had been her manager since 2008.
