Demi Lovato is back in the studio to make music again following her split with rumored beau Henry Levy. A source has revealed that after four months of dating, their relationship fizzled out and Lovato is now focusing on her healing.

According to the source, the two stopped dating after Demi Lovato had entered treatment for the second time. “She entered treatment for her mental health issues and not because she relapsed,” the source said. “Demi knows she will be battling her struggles for a very long time and wants to take precautionary measures when she feels the need to check in on her health. She never wants to get to a place where she was last year when she relapsed,” the source added.

The source also revealed that the ex-lovers decided to split because Lovato’s family didn’t want her to get into a relationship this soon. Demi also reportedly wanted to focus on her health and did not want to feel distracted and overwhelmed, so she opted to take a breather.

Rumors about Lovato dating Levy surfaced back in November, when the two were spotted together in a sushi restaurant in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles. The date came three months after Lovato finished her treatment in a facility following a drug overdose.

In December, the two were photographed having some PDA in Malibu and driving off in the same car together. Later that month, Levy posted a video of them on his private Instagram Story, showing him and Lovato smooching and smiling. They also welcomed the New Year together in Aspen, Colorado.

On Jan. 14, Levy shared a photo of him with Lovato in France. A month later on Valentine’s Day, Levy once again posted on Instagram. “Happy Valentine’s Day to this beautiful soul @@DLovato. I love you to the moon and back,” she wrote.

Despite their constant dates and seemingly social-media-official romance, another source revealed that Levy and Lovato only dated but Levy, the founder of clothing company Enfants Riches Deprime, was never really the 26-year-old singer’s sober companion.

Meanwhile, Lovato is now back in Los Angeles and has been spending a lot of time at her mom’s house. The singer has reportedly been busy going to the gym and making music in the studio as she continues her therapy and remains committed to surrounding herself with positive influences.
